Age requirement
18+ only
All renters must be 18 years of age or older and present a valid government-issued photo ID at Cocohatchee River Park, before launch. Minors may ride only when allowed by craft rules and accompanied by an approved adult renter who accepts full responsibility.
Rental waiver
Assumption of risk
By booking or operating any Watercraft Rentals craft (boat, kayak, or jet ski), you acknowledge that lake recreation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to collision, capsizing, falling overboard, weather changes, water conditions, and equipment failure.
You agree to follow all dock brief instructions, wear required safety gear, operate only in permitted areas in Naples, and return the craft in the same condition received, normal wear excepted. You are responsible for damage, loss, or recovery costs caused by misuse, negligence, or violation of lake rules.
Meetup and launch are at Cocohatchee River Park, Naples / Fort Myers, during posted hours (9 am to 6 pm) unless we notify you otherwise.
Liability terms
Release of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, you release and hold harmless Watercraft Rentals, its owners, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your rental, use, or operation of equipment, including injury, death, or property damage, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You agree to indemnify Watercraft Rentals against third-party claims resulting from your operation of the craft. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Payment
20% deposit online, 80% at the dock
Guest pays a 20% deposit online through Stripe at booking. The remaining 80% is due at the dock. Your card is charged the deposit when you complete checkout; a receipt is emailed by Stripe.
Camera / GoPro package ($100) and jet ski extra-passenger fees are included in that same rental total: 20% of those add-ons is charged online, and the rest is due at the dock.
Cancellation
If you cancel
Cancel by emailing lgwatercraftrentals@gmail.com. If you cancel for any reason, we keep the 20% deposit. There is no refund of the deposit. A no-show without canceling is also not a refund.

If we cancel
Any reason we cannot run your rental
If Watercraft Rentals has to cancel, we text or email you. If we cancel 48 hours or more before your booking, we keep the 20% deposit. If we cancel with less than 48 hours notice before your booked date, we refund 100% of the deposit. Deposit refunds go back to the original payment method within 2–3 business days.
Reasons we may have to cancel include:
- Unsafe weather — high wind, rain, lightning, or storms
- Choppy water or poor visibility in Naples
- Over-packed waters that make it unsafe to launch
- Mechanical or equipment issues
- Staffing or other operational problems that mean we cannot run the rental
